Professional Bathroom Mould Removal Process in Horsley Park
For this Horsley Park project, our technician followed a detailed remediation process based on industry best practices and th2e principles of the AS-IICRC S520 Standard for Professional Mould Remediation.
Initial HEPA Vacuuming
The affected bathroom surfaces were first HEPA vacuumed to remove loose particulate contamination before physical cleaning commenced.
Actichem THYMOX Application and Microfibre Cleaning
The mould-affected tiles were then cleaned using Actichem THYMOX and professional microfibre cloths.
A one-direction wiping technique was used throughout the process. After each pass, the microfibre cloth was folded to expose a clean surface before continuing.
This wipe-and-fold methodology helps physically remove contamination rather than spreading it across the surface.
Final HEPA Vacuuming
Once cleaning was completed, a final HEPA vacuum pass was performed to capture any residual particulate matter generated during the remediation process.
This sequence forms the basis of the HEPA Sandwich Method, which consists of:

2. Physical Cleaning
3. HEPA Vacuum
