Manly Roof Cavity Mould Remediation Project

Manly Roof Cavity Mould Remediation Project

By Michael Nguyen

Recently, our team completed a professional mould remediation project in Manly involving extensive fungal growth within the roof cavity following prolonged moisture intrusion and poor ventilation conditions.

Our technicians established a controlled remediation setup using HEPA-filtered air scrubbers to help capture airborne mould spores and maintain cleaner air throughout the remediation process. Proper containment and negative air management are critical when working in confined roof spaces to minimise cross-contamination into occupied living areas.

The remediation process included detailed HEPA vacuuming of contaminated timber framing and roof surfaces, followed by mechanical cleaning using wire brushing and sanding techniques to physically remove mould growth and impacted surface material.

Areas affected by microbial contamination were carefully treated in accordance with industry-guided remediation procedures, with attention given to both visible mould growth and settled spore contamination throughout the roof cavity structure.

At AAA Mould Removal, we use commercial-grade remediation equipment and follow scientific remediation principles to help restore affected building materials safely and effectively.

If you suspect hidden mould contamination within your roof cavity or ceiling space, our team services homes and commercial properties across Sydney with professional mould inspections, testing, and remediation solutions.
