Is bathroom mould dangerous?

Small spots on tiles are mostly a cleaning job, but mould can trigger allergies and asthma. Mould that keeps returning, smells musty or sits behind the tiles usually means hidden water damage, so get it checked. Our inspection is free.

Can I just use bleach?

Bleach can whiten mould on glazed tiles, but it does not reach the roots in grout, silicone or plasterboard, and it does nothing about the moisture. If the mould comes back after cleaning, the cause needs fixing, not more bleach.

Do you fix the leak and rebuild too?
